Trinity Packaging Supply Wins Inc. Best in Business 2022 Award

Forget the naughty or nice list - this year, we're kicking off the holiday season with some big news: Trinity made the Inc. Best in Business 2022 list!

What is the Inc. Best in Business Award?

The Inc. Best in Business list honors companies across the nation who not only lead their industry but have heart.

This year, 241 companies across 55 categories made the annual list for contributions to their industries, communities, and the environment. Trinity is thrilled to have made the list for the Northeast Region.

To determine winners, Inc.'s editors reviewed each applicant's annual achievements and impact on the world, rather than relying on quantitative data like sales or funding. This year's applicant pool was extremely competitive, with thousands of businesses vying for a coveted spot on the list.

Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc., says. “Inc. magazine is dedicated to showcasing America's most dynamic businesses and the great things they do. The Best in Business awards shine a light on those that have gone above and beyond their original mission to make a social, environmental or economic impact, benefiting those around them.”

Our Impact

Trinity's commitment to empowering the packaging industry, serving our community, and adopting eco-friendly practices is why we were named an Inc. Magazine Best in Business award winner.

Leading the Packaging Industry

This year, Trinity worked hard to help the packaging industry overcome two significant hurdles: reducing the industry's carbon footprint and improving pallet accessibility during the 2022 pallet shortage.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Our main goal is to provide customers with more environmentally friendly packaging solutions that are good for their business and better for the earth.

One way we help customers be more environmentally friendly is by converting clients to using a pre-stretched stretch wrap or high-performance stretch wrap on their pallets. This enables customers to use less material per wrapped pallet while maintaining better containment force during transit.

In addition to our eco-friendly onsite packaging consultations, we primarily drop-ship directly from local vendors to reduce freight costs and lead times, which burns less fuel, reducing our shipping impact on the environment while supporting local businesses.

Saving Pallets from Landfills

Last year, businesses across the country faced a shortage of pallets, which threatened to bring companies to a halt.

To help meet the demand for pallets, we increased our pallet inventory with recycled pallets and expanded our network of pallet suppliers nationwide, allowing us to account for the limited number of pallets without our customers feeling the impact of the shortage.

“Trinity helped keep Tyson running during a very challenging supply chain by keeping us supplied with pallets at a moment's notice,” the Senior Management of Procurement for Tyson Foods said. “Trinity was very flexible and creative to get us pallets to our plants when other suppliers could not perform.”

We also provided our clients with an additional source of revenue through our National Pallet Buyback Program, where customers sell us their old or broken pallets. Instead of dumping old pallets into a landfill, we take their broken pallets and either repair them, recycle them, or turn them into mulch.

By pairing our business model with our buyback program, we've been able to help companies acquire essential supplies to keep moving forward when others couldn't.

Commitment to Community

Supporting charitable organizations that impact the communities we serve is incredibly important to Trinity's President and CEO, Anthony Magaraci. This year, we proudly donated over $2 million to numerous national and local charities.

Supporting New Jersey Communities

This year, we supported charitable organizations dedicated to improving our local New Jersey community.

In March 2022, Trinity committed to providing $120,000 to PrimoHoagies Moorestown, a small veteran-owned business providing sandwiches to homeless veterans at The Extended Hand Ministry shelter in Mount Holly, New Jersey.

We also provided Chapter #2768 of the Gloucester County NAACP Youth Council with backpacks and school supplies for their 6th annual school supplies drive for kids living in poverty in Gloucester County, New Jersey. This donation supported local kids and our employee, administrative assistant Dominique Banks, who serves as NAACP Youth Council president.

Furthermore, this year we donated considerably to educational and community programs, including the Kellman Brown Academy Jewish day school and the Katz Jewish Community Center.

Our National Impact

While our headquarters are in New Jersey, our suppliers and clients are located all over the country. We want to make a positive impact in their communities as well.

This year, we proudly donated nearly $2 million in PPE to Delivering Good and The Shelter Partnership's S. Mark Taper Foundation Shelter Resource Bank, a donation center providing clothing and hygienic items to the homeless in Los Angeles County.

In addition to our PPE donations, we donated to the American Heart Association's annual Philadelphia Heart Ball and Cousins for a Cure, which raises awareness for mitochondrial disease and research.

Since many of our employees are parents, Trinity supports causes centered around child welfare and education. We donated to the Biddy Mason Charitable Foundation supporting foster youth and The Raise Foundation in Orange County, which fights against child abuse.

Our goal is to provide more assistance and support to the communities that need it most. As we march closer to our goal of becoming a $1 billion company, we plan on making our community impact larger than ever.

Trinity Loves Inc. Magazine

This latest honor isn't our only brush with Inc. In fact, we've won many Inc. Magazine Awards since we launched in 2010, including:

  • Inc.'s 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies in America seven years in a row - a feat only achieved by 1% of winners!
  • Inc.'s Best Places to Work three times, placing in the top 50 of honorees.
  • Inc. Regionals Northeast two years in a row
  • Inc. Power Partners 2022 - we made their first-ever list!

"Making the Inc. Best in Business 2022 list for the Northeast Region is an honor I am incredibly proud of,” said Anthony Magaraci, Founder & CEO of Trinity Packaging Supply. “It's always great to be recognized for our hyper-growth, but this award isn't just about numbers - it reflects our efforts to make a positive impact on our environment and the communities we serve, which makes it all the more special.”
